June 27th, 2022 – With ongoing discussions around street harassment and safety for marginalised members of society seemingly being overlooked by the municipality of Groningen, people are finding their own ways to feel safer. NOMEN is a queer safe space initiative founded by Léa de Croÿ and Carlota de Sousa Reis. Whilst NOMEN’s controversial name might push people away, there is more than meets the eye.
